Our lodge rests on the banks of the River Tilt, which flows gently into the River Garry, linking surrounding villages and glens. Our location offers easy access to walking trails, bicycle paths and country roads where you can discover the many delights of the Atholl area. The location also makes it easy to visit the Cairngorms National Park which can offer something for everyone. You will not be disappointed with the range of special places to eat and drink. There is an abundance of arts and culture to savour. Aviemore and Granton on Spey are within easy each and the Highland Wildlife Park makes for a great day out for the family and showcases Scottish wildlife and endangered animals.
Blair Atholl - the area has lots to offer
Step back in time to the fascinating past of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl. Stroll through their famous grounds and gardens, visit the Walled Garden or follow the Scuplture Trail. The annual Atholl Gathering is held in May where you will enjoy the Atholl Highlanders' Parade and the Highland Games. During August Blair Castle host their annual Horse Trials.
